McEwan- on the 24th of December, McEwan will be open from 7:30am-6:00pm, they will be closed on the 25th and open from 9:00am-6:00pm on Boxing Day. New Year's Eve hours are 7:30am-6:00pm and the store will be closed on the 1st of January.
Fabbrica- will be open for lunch only on the 24th from 11:30am-4:00pm and will be closed on the 25th. December 31st, they will be open for both lunch and dinner service, but closed on the 1st of January.

Ultimate Sandwich Smackdown McEwan vs Fidel Gastro
June 23rd is not a date you want to miss at McEwan. Chef Mark McEwan and Fidel Gastro will be having a friendly competition to see who can make the best sandwich. This ultimate smackdown will be going down outside at McEwan 11:30 am - 4:00 pm June 23rd - rain or shine! The best part is a portion of the proceeds from this event will go towards Second Harvest which is Canada's largest food rescue mission. Can't wait to see everyone there!

Our First BBQ was a Success!
Although we didn't think the weather would cooperate, our first in a series of weekend BBQs was a success! Thanks to all who came out, it was a pleasure to meet everyone.
Due to the rain expected today we will not be hosting the BBQ but keep an eye out for us on the sidewalk all summer long.

JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND - NEW ITEMS AT THE FISH COUNTER
McEwan has started to package its own line of frozen shrimp. They're a sweet tasting shrimp that's naturally farmed and packaged without preservatives and chemicals.
Executive Chef Drew Ellerby has created a salmon burger exclusively for the store! They're flavoured with ginger, fresh cilantro, green onion, dill, chives and lemon. A great item for the BBQ or broiled in the oven.
Don't forget about our usual items such as whole fish (European bass, seabream and rainbow trout), wild salmon, Halibut, Shrimp, Scallops and Cedar planked salmon with North 44 Asian rub or maple BBQ rub.

In Store Demos this weekend
We have some incredible in store demos taking place at McEwan this weekend!
Zei Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from Turkey's Ayvalik olive. It's pressed early in the harvest while still green which gives it an intense olive flavour. This superior oil comes from a singe region in Turkey which has olive trees that are e=centuries old. The Ayvalik olive is native to the coastal line and islands of the Northern Aegean Sea which provides it with its recognizable taste.
Square snacks energy bars are buit to ensure you have the right nutrients and energy for your body to get through the day. They were developped by a nutritionist and are packaged perfectly to be taken on the go. There are three different kinds: Fruit and Nut Boost, Hazelnut Cherry and Cocoa Cravings and each are meant to help get over that 3:00 pm energy slump. It's Patio Season...
