Skill Requirements

Strong oral and written communication skills.
Able to work well with clients, vendors and colleagues.
Experience and achievements in the hospitality and catering field.
Strong relationships with Toronto event planners, corporations and venues.
Ability to work some weekends and evenings for special events.
Highly driven and motivated with a passion for customer service, food and events.
Must have strong computer skills, detail oriented and organized.

Past Work Experience

5 years’ experience working in the events & catering field with a recognized company.

Role Requirements

Proactive sales calls to personal book of business and McEwan contacts, develop and maintain relationships with new clients.
Respond to incoming inquiries quickly, offering a creative and comprehensive quote to secure bookings and business.
Liaise with chefs and clients to develop a variety of event menus that meet client needs and dietary requirements.
Oversee all aspects and steps of event management such as staffing, décor, furniture rental, floral, rentals, entertainment etc.
